The Darkness

Something I just through together like five minutes ago. It only took me about ten minutes to write.

The Darkness

This darkened world brings frightful fears

-the certain kind which only darkness hears

They makes you scream, and make you cry

-and make you wish you would soon die

The light vanishes as the darkness creeps in

-while your own demons commit deadly sins

They cut you fast, and cut you deep

-they take your heart, as a gift to keep

They scare you senseless, they make you blind

-they creep up to you, from behind

There’s nothing you can do to escape these fears

-all you can do is release your tears

Cry yourself to sleep each night

-for you shall never see the light

There’s no one to save us, no one to call

-for the darkness has consumed us all
