Go and fight but i'm still here

A poem about the soldiers fighting for us

 

Go and fight but I’m still here

 

You’ll fight for our country

So I’ll stay here

You go out and leave

So we have no fear

 

You win or loose

But it doesn’t matter

All that’s worth

Is when you come home

 

You work so hard

And risk your life

For everybody to be safe

But why should I when your not?

 

You hide in forests

Or ride in planes

Or even boats and submarines

Or am I insane?
