It is late and I am writing.
But tonight,
I write for you and only you,
My dear.

I am exposing my words.
Telling of my flaws, my wrongs
I have brought
Upon you.

I never meant for it
To get this bad.
For us to fall apart
So quick, not like this.

My heart burns
As I am reminded of
What I've done
To push you so far away.

I should've never gone
To such extremes.
If it had never been done
You would still be with me.

If I could rewind everything,
Trust me baby, I would.
I would erase the world
Just for you and only you.

If life was meant to kill us
Tear us down, it would have by now.
But we have held onto each other
Through thick and thin.

We both have our inner storms.
Yet, shouldn't have hurt each other for them.
If I didn't want you,
I would be long gone.

But due to our past and strengths,
I have stayed.
Believing we can make it
Through just about any storm.

I love you more than my own mind.
More than any form of inspiration.
Your love alone
Keeps me forever inspired.

No day or night can go on
Without me thinking about you.
About all we've been through.
But no matter what, I will always love you.

I'm here if you ever need me.
Want me.
Nothing and no one
Could ever make me leave you.

At times we fall.
We pull ourselves back up.
Ending up
In each others arms.

My thoughts always revolve
Around you.
No one could ever
Make me feel the way you do.

All I want to do
Is write about you.
About how my love for you
Never stops growing.

Just trust me that through whatever,
I will always be yours.
Just yours
And no one else's.

Again, it is late
Yet, I don't mind because
This is all
For you and only you.

I don't regret writing
Any of this.
I write this for you,
My dearest.

Losing you would mean
My world darkening.
But even if that happens,
I won't stop loving you the way I do.

I adore it when a poet or a writer describes his/her writings as a way of showing his/her feelings and emotions. It is like breaking the fourth wall in cinema.
