No Stop to Being Me

So many things I could be
If I never cut.
Never burned.
A model.
Perhaps even an actor.
Instead, I write it all out.
Thinking everyday
If I could ever be something more.
As the day near end,
I'm happy with who I am.
Who I can be.
And no one to stop me
From being me.

Yeah, I haven't wrote a short poem in awhile. But was simply thinking these things while I was out smoking the other day, so many thoughts ran through my mind and it kinda hurt. Knowing I could be something different, but not wanting to change myself because I loved who I already was.

I guess we all did go through this one or a several times in our lives... it's pretty normal to not be happy at several points, frustration and self-frustration is a normal feeling... born out of mostly what others want us to be... but here I see your ego strong, and aware. :)

The thing is, is that I've been in the best mood lately. I've been happy and cheerful and not thinking about negative stuff. Which is good, but certain times, I just get reminded again and again of who I could be if I had done some things different in my past...if I took certain actions back or something. Where I would be mentally and physically.

I understand... so well. I have that often too... but always try to focus, on the future, how hard it sometimes might be. What if's are typicly Eli too, and mind poundering... but I guess without it I would be too superfiscious... and hated myself for being that... hahaha (it's a woman thing, lol ) xx

So, you mean guys don't go normally go moping around about their past and self-worth as often as girls do?

The guys I know, not that much... (unless my lovely gay friends lol) they are the best hysterical ones. Guys I know are reservated, and more isolated when it comes to feelings... I can tear them out though. And after they feel released. But they always should be how they feel comfy themselves... no pushing... just am there for them, if they need me.
