Long Live the Red Queen of Wonderland!

Long Live the Red Queen of Wonderland!

A Poem by DoNt LoSe YoUrSeLf

Hello there sir,
My name is Alice.
I have slayed the Red Queen and
Proudly brought back her head.
Hopefully now, you are able
To sleep most peacefully in your bed.
I have traveled through and through Wonderland
To bring you this gift.
Thus, I will say
She did not go down without a tiff.
She was a wondrous queen and
I admired quite so.
But please sir, you must understand
That she just had to go.
Her ruler-ship was off,
So I kindly blew her a cough.
As she lay ill in bed, going nothing toward
She sadly happened to run her way into my sword.
Only a couple times, mind you
But really, it was the least I could do.
I understand that you are her son,
But granted, I had no gun.
I wish you the best in your reign.
Now that your mother, the horrid Red Queen is gone.
I have to go now,
But no worries, I promise not to be away for very long.

Author's Note

I got the idea for this piece while watching the newest "Alice in Wonderland" last night. I wanted it to be sort of a letter that Alice writes to the Red Queen's son about her passing and explaining everything.

Really well done and written indeed !!!
The only question I have is why was she admired and yet in the same note considered horrid ??? =P

Definately enjoyed this piece =D
