Depression

This poem is entirely fictional and about the feelings of depression.

I fell down today
I fell far away
From the people I liked
From the things I used to do
I secluded myself today
And thought

I thought about all the words you said
All those mocking laughs
I wondered did you really mean
All those horrible things you said to me
And did all of you
You who laughed
Ever wonder about the future
My future

The answer is simple, short, and sad
No.
No, you didn't think
You didn't care
So here I am
Secluded from all I know
From all I like
Secluded with this gun in my hand
Secluded with these voices in my head
And soon all will stop
And I'll be dead

I thought this was a really sad poem. But, I'm very glad that it is fictional. If you ever happen to have depression, I hope you never consider what the person in the story of this poem did. God is always there and will always help.
Overall, I thought this was a good poem and it had quite a bit of emotion I thought. Great job!
