To mum.

To mum.

A Poem by Ripples of My Thoughts

I often wonder what u would look like young

Would you make jokes like i do?

Would you smile all the time?

Would u cry in the dark,

Not letting anyone see?

Would you lie in the open,

Staring at night sky?

Would you not be so serious like you are now?

Would you argue with your mum like i do with you?

However you were then, i dont care

Because what you are today,
you are the most beautiful and wonderful mother

anyone can be.

You think you age as the years go on,

But i think u look younger everyday.

People tell me you look my sister.

I tell them you are one.

You helped me with my homeworks.

You helped me with my music.

Hell, you helped me clean my s**t.

A simple thankyou is not enough for this.

I dont know what i'd do without you

I love you to the moon and back.
