You wouldn't know

You wouldn't know

A Poem by LalaLuciegirl

If you look at me
You wouldn't know
If you talk to me
You wouldn't know
If you laugh with me
You wouldn't know

You wouldn't know
I've been beat;
raped,
broken down
You wouldn't know

You wouldn't know
I've been left for ransom,
a drug addict,
a fighter
You wouldn't know

You wouldn't know
I've fought against men with guns,
my mother,
depression
You wouldn't know

You wouldn't know
I've cut,
died,
been brought back to life
You wouldn't know

You wouldn't know
I've loved,
smiled,
made love
You wouldn't know
