you have me

you have me

A Poem by Lydia Shutter

through arms of afternoon
you have me
way past warm
i burn
into ashes of desire
you breathe sex
through lips
longing to be covered by mine
bending closer to passion’s voice
i admit it
my soul is thirsty
oh yes, you have me

Again, you show classy sensuality. You do have a gift for this. I did not want to blush or feel uncomfortable, but I had no doubt the level of passion and desire you were relaying to the reader.

A very hot little poem, Lydi. Love your introductory line, "through arms of afternnoon" - totally original and very suggestive of love in the afternoon . . . May you write romantic verse forever and a day!

What a sweet thing to say, Joyce. Thank you very much. Lydi**
I can't describe the scene this set in my mind, but I will try. The voice of this piece comes off in a sensual whisper, like a lover who has just pulled me in close. Excellent write!
