Friday Nights and You

Friday Nights and You

A Poem by Lydia Shutter
"

never too tired for some things!

"

so sleepy
almost too sleepy
to support the blue in my eyes
                         and yet
taking a deep breath
i exhale thoughts of you
till my skin borders on yours
and each letter of every word i type
is a stroke of your hand on special places
a tingle
having nothing to do with a yawn
escapes my lips
i breathe you
now as night pulls its curtain over the blue of the sky
i crawl into that special place
the one in the crook of your arm
undressing my primal desire
for friday nights and you

Been too long since I read a Friday night poem .. and boy, did I miss it! As always the deep romance, wild anticipation and tender sensuality in your words gets me every time. So, so good. I always end up reading your poems a couple of times to enjoy the sensation of your words. :)

Yes indeed as I alluded in my last review, now the weekend is upon us, how our mood and muse can delightfully transpire from pensive poetic soliloqoy to the all consuming enrapture of sweet love and harming !

A blissfully engrossing romantic poem, penned by a very creative and diverse author !

Your weekends are a heck of a lot more eventful than mine haha Your words have a way of bringing a smile to my darkest days my friend...this is just so lush and gentle and charming, and yes, sexy ;)

to support the blue in my eyes...that's gorgeous...and the tingle that has nothing to do with a yawn, that's the part that really made me smile...wakey wakey, one might say :) Love this one Lydi...definitely a favourite.

You translate primal desires into an evolution of sensual love. There are still those special moments and places to live the dream and fantasy and make it a reality in the right time...Excellent...:)...............
