I noticed that the more technology we have the less we look around. Then I wonder how can you tell people that they are missing out on something so great? Here is a go at it!

Take a look,

Yes, I’m talking to you!

 

Up high,

Where new pictures are created all day.

 

Down low,

Where creatures are creating art with their bodies.

 

Take a look,

A bit closer now.

Can you see it?

Yeah they are just like you.

 

Are you surprised?

Those creatures are surviving just like you,

Those tress are living and allowing other to live too,

And look at those small birds learning to fly!

 

We are so caught up with our day to day life

Seizing to look at the small miracles of life.

We believe we are superior and better then all,

But all we are is a piece of a sublime artwork.

 

One piece that makes the whole,

One whole that is part of a bigger whole,

And the the pattern goes on and on.

Who are we but the smallest part of the biggest picture?

 

Now look her, him, them, the other, and us

Just look around and tell me: are we really that different?

Was Shakespeare wrong to say that “I also bleed when cut”?

Or where a great leaders wrong when they said “we are stronger united”?

Now look at my lines and tell me if more words are better than less?

Do you prefer my questions or my commands?

 

 

Look Up, down, sideways, and all around;

Look to understand and look to comprehend;

Similar in style but difference in significance;

How else can I say “look and see”

For my extra line will tell you all;

“Life is lived once so look to understand.”
