At the bus stop

At the bus stop

A Poem by Lyric
"

This just kind of came to me, sorry if it's not good, I've kind of had writers block lately

"
I saw him first at the bus stop
Buzz cut
Tank Top

A teenaged misfit
I guess a lot like myself

But
He sparked interest
Never meant to ignite it

But why fight it?
When you could find something new

I...
Don't
Know
What
To
Do
Anymore

I took chances
Hand
As
He knocked on my door

And God knows it
Takes more
Than ice when
souls are sore

I was walking poetry, everywhere he went,
When he looked back at me I'd turn around and pretend
That I wasn't watching him,
So I guess the truth would be that, I was crazy then,
But at least now I see,

That hearts
Can be
Brilliant masters
Of disguise

Close
Your
Thoughts and
Open up your eyes

What
good
is
Seeing
if
All
you saw
Were lies

The sun shone down on him,
With extreme clarity, I sure as hell noticed him,
But had he noticed me?

I stayed off to the side,
Where I should always be, I wasn't a princess,
Time to face reality,

I
Don't
Know
What
To
Do
Anymore

I
Took
Chances
Hand
As he
Knocked on
My
Door

And God knows it takes more than ice when souls are sore
