THE SPOKEN WORD

THE SPOKEN WORD

A Poem by M.Joseph Black

Werds spoken playnli

Now onli ignord

After onli twenti yers on

From a seven yer ich.

He sters at fyve fyftene

Evri dae.

Rejimentul.

After twenti seven yers

Ov habit

She duzzent ster

But slepes thru.

Words spoken not playnli

Forst owt with effot

Pashens youzed and gon.

Hym blynd to her frustrashens.

A broken neklass

A torn hankacheef

Dry-ying ov I’s

And howswyvs

Muffld huzza

To huzband ignord

But styl

Lyf gows on

I'm not sure...but i think this is to close ingenious. This poetry has got a lot of heart and life to it. And the best thing about it, is it's unique as someone else pointed out.
