Summer Storm

4-16-10

Your ever-changing mood is like a rude, summer storm. It begins gently but with harsh intentions. Ruthless rain begins; burning hot, searing the skin upon which it strikes. Aggressive thunder breaks out and echoes over the Earth. It rings a screeching, raging, horror of a sound across the barren land. Malicious, smoky clouds envelop the atmosphere. They omit a dense, black fume; intoxicating and unforgiving. Lightning strikes like knives upon the Earth’s precious soil. The storm is at its peak; hell has broken loose from its once binding chains.

But then, like a gift from the heavens, all is calm. All is eerily placid. The ravenous rain has ended, the thunder and lightning ceased, and the poisonous fumes sealed up. All is calm. All is quiet. A light shower of cool, blessed rain falls gently upon the damaged Earth. The open sky beams blue and clear. Peace is suddenly restored to all, in the blink of an eye.
