Why do I write?

Why do I write?

A Poem by ChaosxPaladin
"

A self frustrated student wondering why he puts himself through what he does the most

"
Why do I write?
That's a good question.
Sometimes I wonder myself.

Many an hour, I've toiled,
Working, striving, comparing, perfecting,
speaking with others mastering their works.

Its become a routine.

Why do I write
when I'm surrounded by those who love the craft
and I sit in the corner doing it because I've done it so long?

Why do I write
when others create masterpieces
on a level that I feel I feel I can't achieve?

Sometimes I wonder myself.

What happened to the passion I remember having so long ago?
Did something change within me along the way?
Inspiration seldom comes; What I write is as natural as breathing.
Its forced.

And so I ask myself, why do I write?

I can only ever wonder myself.

I'm not sure if you're speaking for yourself or everyone. This is a pretty heartfelt speech, man. I know how you feel and I'm sure all of people if not everyone does. Just like a friend of mine says if you don't think your work is good, then how can you expect anyone else to?
