A Strange, Lonely Dream

I had a really random dream.

I had a strange dream.

My memory is vague,

but I remember lots of colours,

clashing and screaming and running too.

There were the sounds of people,

laughing, crying, and shouting too.

I don't remember who they were.

There was an adventure,

across massive oceans,

wondrous open plains

and deserts as far as the eye can see.

I don't remember where we were going.

I don't remember who we were searching for.

But I do remember

You weren't with me.
