Eternal

Eternal

A Poem by MOON

Pack up the pieces of my heart

Brown leather suitcases apart

Wind blowing changes rattles the bones

Undressed here I stand all alone

On this journey what awaits me

Some things they say will never be

You won’t listen foot on the stair

Run away all too hard to bear

Then I see your face yet again

In love where we all stand

Grace the siren song of this soul

Beauty here I am here I’m whole

There was never just you and I

Love’s forever it does not die

Vividly beautiful and well written. I really like your choice of words, and the way you use them to capture the emotions.
I really enjoyed reading it. The last closing lines are magic!
"There was never just you and I
Love’s forever it does not die"
Well done and keep on writing.
