If only

I wish you would have known.

The battles I have fought,

the words that have attacked me.

If only you knew me,

the me only I know.

I wish you had come to me.

The times I cried,

the moments I just needed a hug.

If only you had known me,

the me who needs you.

I hope you know will know me,

the me for me.

The me who wouldn't cry,

or fall in my battles.

If only you will be with me,

helping me with my battles.
