Goodbye summer, and hello fall! Now that my favorite season is here, it’s time to move away from the pastel-colored eyeshadows and change to something more appropriate for cooler weather.

It’s hard to know what will be trending the upcoming season, but don’t worry. We’ve got you covered!

As fall 2019 approaches, we are going to see a lot more dark and sultry eye looks and lip trends. For more trends you’ll be expecting to see this season, keep reading.

Burgundy Lips

 

This trend was really popular in the 90s and 2014, and it’s making a comeback again! It’s a stunning and definitely will be a statement look. My favorite burgundy shade is from MAC Cosmetics. “Nightmoth” is MAC’s lip liner. It’s affordable and long-lasting, plus it looks amazing!

Colored Winged Eyeshadow

The hit HBO series, “Euphoria” has inspired editorial makeup looks allover Instagram. One look we will see a lot of this fall, due to the series, is winged color eyeshadow. This trend will make any look dramatic and eye-catching. Use tape to help keep the liner sharp or a small eyeshadow brush.

Light Blush 

 

Blush has seen a decline in the past because of extensive contouring, but it’s making a comeback. On the runways, we’ve seen an increase of light blush. This will give anyone an innocent yet intriguing look. 

Soft Smokey Eyes

When you think of smokey eye looks, you most likely think of black eyeshadow with dark liner. This fall, soft smokey eyes will be a huge trend. Using neutral tones, like light brown or sheer pink tones provide a fresh eye look for this season.

Matte Red Lips

This is a classic makeup trend that seems to never go out of style. Every fall and winter we see this trend come back. So pick up your favorite red lip to complete any look.

Natural looking brows or “boy brows”

This fall, embrace your brows! To groom, brush up brows with a spoolie; then, fill in sparse spots with a brow pencil using small, feathery strokes.
