We are one

We are one

A Poem by Ki

Take my hand in your velvet
It doesn't matter who you were
Or who you will be
In my eyes I can't see you
But I can feel as your voice surrounds me
Its sweet agony dances on the nerves in my fingertips
You step back
And I taste the distance between us
Every inch of you
Corresponds to my own
And we are one

...................What's a velvet?

Posted 6 Years Ago

This poem makes me think unconditional love. Perhaps that is the message and I'm just not seeing it when it's clearly stated, but oh well. :)
Your words have a lot of emotion in them. This doesn't really seem to be one of those poems that you just make up to be a story. By the way you worded everything and how much feeling you put into it, it kind of seems like you know exactly what you're talking about, like it's happened before, or you've had some kind of similar thoughts.
Well, anywho, nice job. :)
