Memory runs deep within the soul, as does passion within the heart...

She's been gone for so long
Too much time has passed
Yet...
A soft sigh passes through lips grown cold
Through a heart so broken
That ice has formed where once grew warmth.
Songs, she plays throughout the night

Each one bringing her back
To a time from long ago.
Her body moves softly through the night
Eyes closed, swaying gently to the soft tunes.
Oh to let go
To move forward
To sleep peacefully
Through the darkened night no longer in fear
From the feelings of broken dreams.
Is there life after life?
Love after love?
Peace after happiness?
Another day
Another night
And the music plays on
And she dances in the darkness
Swaying slowly
Gently
And she dreams....
