Stay Strong

Stay Strong

A Poem by Rose Tyler
"

My boyfriend and I are terrified because he has dizzy spells and gets really cold sometimes so he's being checked for diabetes.

"
It's finally set in,
Has it not?
That your life
It may not be as good as you thought

It was all going so well
Just the two of us
Not a care in the world
Until your mother
Oh did she break the spell

The news hit me like
A tidal wave onto a city
I wanted to die
To cry
To never let you go.

How could something happen
Something like this
To you
My sweet, loving guy.

Something like this
We should have seen it coming -
Sure
Your dad's side carries it
But that doesn't mean
It would've been passed to you.

I'm sorry I can't be here now
I've got some problems of my own
But you know
I'll always love you
And never give up on you.

Stay strong
For me
For you
For your parents
For your friends
For all of us.
