Missing You

Missing You

A Poem by Malen

Daintily twisting, hair curls to finger.
Eyeing in flirtatious jest.
Lips bitten in anticipation.
Ideally a night never end'n.
Chocolate drips from bottom lip.
Intense moments begin like this.
Outbursts of laughter fill the room.
Unconcerned with attire or attitude.
Secrets whispered between the two.

My how time creeps by.
Oh, without you by my side.
Memories fall in place.
Events marking climax of fate.
Nostalgic memories,
Turning reality into dreams.
She smiles at my loss in such things.
