Remember those nights?

Remember those nights?

A Poem by Mamta Vashisht
"

The beautiful nights spent admiring nature and feelings attached to them as a child and not getting them to feel anymore.

"
Remember those nights?
When the stars were bright!
Gazing them in summers,
Upon the roof touching the sky.
Counting stars as they blinked,
Creating imaginary worldly links.
That star is my grandmother!
Who watches me from above,
Showering on me all her love.

Remember those nights?
When the stars were bright!
No hussle-tussle where existed,
Away from the city persisted,
A country where skies were clear.
I would sleep near the star,
Reminiscent of my grandmother.
Those days are forgotten today
Or maybe impossible to revive this day!
Remember those nights?
When the stars were bright!
