Once Again

A simple poem.

Here I am again

I fallen for temptation

I'm drowning in my sin

You are my salvation

Are you still there,

Lord can you hear me.

Hear me cry in my despair.

Where are you Lord,

The waves cover my sights

I cant see the shore

I cant see the light.

Wait, I catch a glimpse,

Your light,

It catches my sight.

I can see your arm extend

To save me,

save me from my end

At last I am free.

I write this poem because we have all been here at a certain point in our life.  The point where we think were standing yet the truth is that were sinking.  By the time we realize it, the water is up to our neck.  We realize we have failed the Lord and fallen into temptation and cant seem to find our way out. Thats when we must cry to the Lord and tell Him that we sincerely repent and ask for forgiveness.  Then he shall come and free you from the sinkhole of sin.
