Rush Rush

 

There is a man I know,

He rushes to his fate,

From sperm to boy this impatient man,

Never can he wait.

Controlled by his weakness,

His future must start now.

He misses all his chances,

Never knowing how?

If you race towards your goal,

You will miss it by a mile.

Take a breath, look around,

Wait a little while.

Learn from the wise tortoise,

He acted with refrain.

Be worldly wise my dearest friend,

….see the long term gain.

ooo.. a reminder in the busy lives of men.. SLOW DOWN.. its very wise indeed! It flowed quite nicely dear, and I really, really enjoyed this new spin on the Tortoise and the Hare!
