Green Sticky Thing

A Story by Maria.F.T

Once a day, Mary was doing an experiment, people knew her as a very very genius scientist, she was a very clever young girl, she had done many many scientific experiments, but on that day, she found an unusual thing in her experiment, there was a green sticky thing, and she let it for one day until the following morning. In the following morning, she saw a different thing on that green sticky thing, it was moving such as a living thing, then she tried to identify it, she tried to know what it was. Then after she tried to identify it, she noticed that it was good for plants, so she made that thing to be much, much, and much. She put it on her plants, and after two or three hours, her plants were growing, and they were more beautiful than before. Suddenly, her parents came to her house, and they saw her beautiful plants, and they said, “Oh my God ! Mary, they’re beautiful, what have you done to them ?”, “ This is my new experiment , Mom,” she said, and her mommy asked her to do the same thing to her plants, and Mary gave that green sticky thing to her mom, she told her mom to put it on her plants, when her parents arrived at their home, they put it on their plants, and the same thing happened, after two or three hours, their plants were growing, and they were more beautiful than before. Her parents told to everyone about that green sticky thing, and then all the people there asked for that thing and put it on their plants, and the same thing also happened to them, in that time all the plants in that environment were very beautiful and nice.

I love this. It is full of symbolism. The character is a brilliant girl, yet, she is unfamiliar with this "green sticky thing" that fosters growth. Despite her unfamiliarity with it's essence, she embraces it as an experiment and shares her "findings" with her parents. this is so clever.
