A Poem by Marilyn My Bitterness

This poem will be a work in progress
Until the day that I die
Because love is everchanging
Ever captivating
And it's all mine
You ask why my poetry is sad
Harsh, angry, and cruel
Well the truth is, that's all i've known
All i've been shown
Until I met you
It seems like a dream
From so long ago
Your smile, your kiss
My life is amiss
But this I know is temporary
Just like the setting sun
Soon your smile will be as brilliant as dawn
After the night battle as been won
I love you to pieces
Not just because you adore my smile
But because as hard as I push
You stand firm next to me all the while
Your dedication and devotion is awe inspiring
Who knew one movie would come to this?
"Not I", he said but, "Thank Jehovah it did"
So your prediction was correct
I am as strong as you think
I will win this war because
To your heart mine has made a link
