The Death Smile.

The Death Smile.

A Poem by Marilyn My Bitterness
"

Because I refuse to believe I am inherently evil.

"
O fair Angel
With goodness deep down in your soul
Peace has overcome you
Because your last breath, Death stole

You smile wide
In your casket, wrapped so tight
The warmth radiates through
And illuminates the dark night

I want to tell of your Truth
Your endeavor to spread love and joy
But would anyone listen?
When your heart the world did destroy

You always said to not feel sorrow
But rejoice in this day
Death to you was not a punishment
Not something you would chase away

Maybe that is why you smile
As widely as you do
But angel you left me here
Tell me, what am I to do?
