Thor's Playground

Thor's Playground

A Poem by Marilyn My Bitterness

Electricity sparking and arcing through my blood, the offspring of lightening and power
Feeling alive and reaching the skies, I step back and take a mighty leap forward
I grab a hold of a lightening bolt and soar through the clouds at a hundred miles per hour
I ride it across the grey night sky and watch as it lights up the world over
But quick! It is gone, and I am falling from grace
Until I grab another and ride it through space.
