Alone In My WonderA Poem by Dave
Where are you, I wonder whose dreams you are stirring now
I wonder what happened to the gossamer castles we built. Fragile wisps of blue and pink that floated gently on a breeze. I wonder where you took them without malice so far away. Alone I wonder if I am the only one whose dreams you have taken Unfulfilled dreams lying like so much rubbish on loves' byway. So alone, will my broken heart be mended or just remain as it is. Alone in my wonder, I'm not alone in my thoughts of you. Will you continue your reckless onslaught of innocent lovers giving the promise of heaven only to open the gates of Hell? No! I did not see it coming the truth was to difficult to bare. Alone in my wonder in the hopelessness that you could care.
