Judgment Day

Judgment Day

A Poem by Carla

God I’m far from perfect.
You heard my pain in prayers.
Asking for nothing but strength and a path of understanding.

God, you’ve seen me fold.
Weak and at my lowest,
with puddles of tears on the floor.

Consistently making the wrong decisions and
purposely creating different lies.
Using love for protection because my innocence is my disguise.

God I’m not perfect!
And that’s my truth.

You live life going through different phases.
Different beliefs and different views.
You cut your hair just to grow it back and sometimes cut it again.

Life is about the greatest mistakes.
Not all about the wins.

There are indeed a lot of mistakes. Of course, some people regard them as ladders.
