The Rorschach Clouds On the First Day of Spring

The Rorschach Clouds On the First Day of Spring

A Poem by Mary Bosworth

White inkblots
               Spattered across a blue sky.
               A god lying
               In a bed of feathers;
               Cherubs floating
               Above his curly head.
A goddess in a cotton gown
               In sweet repose.

               The sun nods
               And winks.
               The god and goddess
               Merge.

               The sun disappears.
               The blue sky turns grey.
Two otherworldly beings begin to cry.
               Their teardrops water the leaves

               And the earth turns green.

Took me to my childhood, lying on my back, finding the animals in the clouds. Imagination turns lots of things green. Enjoyed. ( : O )

Has a lot of meaning to a day of spring the heaven's open up and a good rain storm came refreshing to read such great poetry for the first day of spring. Good Features My Dear.

A marvelous write. A million worlds viewed within the clouds... I never thought of them as inkblots though.
