Her

Her

A Poem by Matriarch
"

Sometimes loving someone to death isn't always that great.

"

Her skin was beautiful

Almost porcelain

Like a doll

Her eyes were blue

But not blue like the ocean

Blue like a stinging sensation of ice

Blue like ice scraping your skin on a cold winter day

Blue like the feeling when you’re down in your knees in problems

She could say a thousand words with those eyes

Her lips were gorgeous

Bright and full

Her body was slender and slim

Her skin so soft against my lips

Her tongue so nice against mine

Her body so perfect resting against me

She looked so nice sitting in front of me

Like a delicious meal

She was so still and obedient

She always listened and never judged me

I love this woman

Now I take her finger guiding it to my mouth

I chew it lightly and enjoy my meal.

I really like this but, I am just lost in what your subject is. When I first read it, I thought the author was expressing his love and lust for this woman, but then I read you tags and saw cannibalism. So I read it again with the idea of cannibalism being the subject, and well I didn't really see it. I mean there are a few hints toward the idea of it, but they're not very visible until the end. Please do not take offends to this, but I feel like if you were to add in more visible hints of cannibalism throughout the whole poem it would convey your point much better. But maybe I am just thinking to much into it. Either way I really did enjoy this piece, just feel like it needs a bit more hints to the reader.
