A quarrel between anybody.

Quarreling

When will the shouts stop
back and forth, back and forth
like a ball being thrown with a string attached
coming back and knocking you over.

Look at us, throwing each other down the mountain
trying to get to the top
to be the winner, the more superior
waves crashing down on you
holding you down like you are handcuffed to a wall
the truth has been set free from its concealed box
now you’re in trouble.
