CD Play

Same concept as AB play, but with a different situation.

[Lights go up, C and D are sitting on a bench]

C: Hello.
D: Goodbye.
C: Wait. What?
D: I said goodbye. Weren't you listening?
C: I was listening, but why are you saying goodbye?
D: I have my reasons.
C: Really? What are your reasons.
D: Even if I told you, you wouldn't understand.
C: I'll try.
D: Funny.
C: No it isn't.
D: To me it is. I have my reasons and my kind of humor isn't similar to yours.
C: Why?
D: We are different from one another.
C: Are we now?
D: Yes.
C: I believe we are alike.
D: No we aren't.
C: Yes we are.
D: What is your reason?
C: Not telling you.
D: Why?
C: Because you never told me your reason.

[Light fades out]
