In due Time

In due Time

A Poem by Mae Taylor
"

Directions: read through the whole thing, then go back and read only the black words, then only the Gray.

"

The fear I have to touch his face

Stepping forward I braved the kiss

My heart will never cease it's race.

Oh those lips I already miss

Tears struggle to stream down my face

Falsely accepted and denied inside

Oh him I could never replace.

The dishonest reactions makes me sigh

Wavering now I can no longer lie,

The pain will be visible in due time.

Although all I really want to do is die.

Author's Note

Mae Taylor
this writing shows how flummoxed my thinking gets and how disordered my thoughts are and overall how confused I am by my own feelings. Then slowly I will take time to reevaluate my situation and end up at the final version.
