Lifeless Cube

Lifeless Cube

A Poem by Mayank

The Sunlight passes through the tube,

Making a glowing sphere on my wall.

I sit in the corner,

Inside this lifeless cube

Ink flows through steel nib,

On the blank papers

My thoughts crawl…

A short poem having a deep insight I must say. I do feel like this sometimes, sitting in the corner, seeing the light pass by , but not bothering to enlighten ( cheer up , here) me. Any ways, good one.

Sometime we need to be silent, that we find in the darkness.
We are there with you through every word of this small poem. You are a very promising writer.
Know yourself better and give us more of such writing. I liked the font style as well.

Thanks Poppy!
The loneliness is palpable on your page Mayank, alas we always have poetry, wasn't sure about the 'tube', were you referring to the tv or your insight?
