Shredding Skin

Shredding Skin

A Poem by Mayank

The lonely tongue hissed
It was another ugly day,
He sat shredding skin.

This gives a picture to the quote "New day brings new things" I see a snake shedding its skin ready for a new day

Very much, every day brings us something now.
I think of a snake shredding it's skin.
Maybe because it's not happy with who it used to be and wants to remove all trace of that former self and start fresh.
