Inconsistency

Inconsistency

A Poem by Tamika Finley

You pronounce "I love you" with such meaning in your vocals..
And you do anything for me, it's hard not to notice..
It's quite dangerous..
I attempt to treat you less than well..
So that you'll understand that I mean well..
I truly do..
However, I've been wounded too..
I've begged you not to fall for me..
I can't promise I'll be around to break your fall..
Or maybe I will..
Then one day my ways kick in..
And I just drop you mid-air..
70 feet in the air..
It's similar to a psychological disorder or biological defect..
I can't really tell when this inconsistency will come into effect..
My cold ways will have left you cold and blue..
Though, you can't really blame me..
For I warned you.
