Mistake

You know when you write out a text and before you press send you delete it all..

Trying to convince yourself that you didn't mean it all..

That all of the truth in those words, glad that you didn't speak it because then you'd have to take back it all..

So you erase it all..

Telling yourself "It was a mistake is all"..

I like the irony in the poem.
"That all of the truth in those words, glad that you didn't speak it because then you'd have to take back it all". This line is very ironic because sometimes you know that you have to tell the truth to someone, but make the mistake of not doing so, which means that you are in a way lying to yourself.
This poem is great as it is short and very well written.
