The Light

The Light

A Poem by Melanie Jane Boicourt Shanks

The light

Its hell -not- living in the light
You fell -and- nothing seems right.
Theres always something missing
No matter whom youre kissing.
No one can take away
your loneliness today.

except you -by- going to the light.
Just you -can- make it alright.
Improve the life youre living.
And know that youre forgiven.
Let Jesus fill the void.
Before your lifes destroyed.

Then you -can- go into the light
And you -will- know its alright.
Just go and join the family
Who will accept you gladly.
No matter where youve been.
Your new life can begin.

Then you -can- live inside the light
And you will- know its alright.
Youll see it, know it, hear it,
And feel the Holy Spirit
transforming inside you.
And everything you do.

Because you are- becoming the light.
Yea you know- everythings alright.
When you let God take control.
Your cup is always over full
The creator of your soul
knows how to make you whole.

Then you will- be inside the light.

You know there are programs where you can record yourself and then paste the code here so that we could hear your music. I definitely think that is something you might want to consider doing. One program is called evoca and the other is audacity.

Anyway loved this and again as before I can "hear" the music in your words. So I can only imagine what it must really be like when you put the two together. :)

Ain't it the truth? When you are in sync with the universe around you, life is a very beautiful thing.

Wonderful write!
