The Knowing

This on my way to figuring out I am not alone in dealing with coming to terms with Self.

Maybe the knowing is enough for you

For now -

The knowing I desire you,

The knowing I am here.

I feel I have somehow wronged you

- Maybe even more now than in the past -

Though I know I have not.

I have tried to right this

That perhaps I cannot (right),

Or maybe I have (righted)

And this is what is left:

The knowing I may very well have,

Once again,

Set myself up for a fall.

And I hate knowing

I ever contributed to you feeling this way.
