"4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."
A bit of a stylistic departure for you Melinda, and yet I'd have no trouble picking this one out as one of your compositions. Your romantic works are special because they're so supportive...you're willing to accept a lover warts and all...you just seem to have a natural understanding of the dynamics of romantic love. I was intrigued by the "name" motif as well...I never thought of things that way before...lovely work as always my friend.

I am always writing, but have not joined a writers' group since The Belle Haven when it was in existence. I loved it and really miss it. So when this site was recommended to me, I couldn't resist.
