If you're looking for someone perfect,

It's okay to pass me by.

Actually, I encourage it,

Because I am flawed

Like the broken key.

My flaws make me who I am;

They're markers of where I've been,

Choices I've made,

Storms I've survived,

Trials I've championed.

'The one' will not be found

While picking folks apart.

I did not know I could be so frightening

Hearing, seeing, speaking with my heart.
