Back To The Start

Back To The Start

A Poem by Merry Sumiko
"

It's an everlasting cycle.

"
Sliding down,
Covering her arm.
It drips and drops,
Someone ring the alarm.

Her head collapses,
The silver falls.
Red soaks her sleeves,
Down it crawls.

She sinks under the water,
Thick and warm.
Dark thoughts still linger,
She waits till dawn.

It's about time,
When she finally wakes.
She cries some more,
Until she finally breaks.

Her heart it pounds,
The blood now hard.
She stands, she's ready.
She's back to the start.
