Gazer

Gazer

A Poem by Mezzy

As the light beams through the glass and touches your shoulder.
I sit and stare in amazement. Absolutely encapsulated within a smolder.
A flame, never more ready to ignite.
It is your mark I so willingly embed upon my own flesh to solidify a connection.
Not even the pain from a thousand cuts could stammer my lust for your affection.
You are sincere, so revering...and the chance to adhere is exactly where I will be steering.
I am on the tippest of toes knowing you are mine so I'm fearing...you break vows to make now's arouse a new love so searing.
But of course I should not let insecurity bewilder me spearly.
So again I turn my undivided, of course, towards you so dearly.
Here I go yet again, getting lost in you...you're so endearing.
How does one live about, not being able to stop with the leering.
