Planet Zero

Planet Zero

A Poem by Me

I come from planet Zero.
Nothing.
Not a thing.
Planet Zero.

Me no talk without permission.
Me no be a military hero.
Me be educated in
thinking like the herd.

Nothing.
Not a thing.
Planet Zero.

Zipper zips and sips to empty.
Milk curdles in the stew.
White men attack a Negro.
Drink his blood.
Be his thoughts.

A road begins and ends
from the main city
on Planet Zero.

Minds look alike.
Minds act alike.
Minds think alike.

Nothing never falls asleep.
Nothing never learns.
Getting high.
Smoking release.

Nothing.
Not a thing.
Planet Zero.

Being on Planet Zero is no fun...
where nothing is nothing, and time and space cease to exist...

Board a ship and find your way back to earth, my dear friend.

Thought provoking write!~xoxo~

Amazing.

This is more chant than poetry, more rhythm than melody, and those are good things. At least, in my world. If it doesn't make me feel like moving, it won't get me feeling anything else. Great write.

i like how you portray people are taught to think like the herd, which for me suppresses any kind of individuality. this also makes a statement about being jaded in this kind of society you have to get high to exist in a world of pure ignorance. great message.

Michael: I think for a minute I would like to live in this Planet Zero... As "Minds look alike.
Minds act alike.
Minds think alike"
For a minute...would be good. Just to try it.
