Every time we try

It all ends the same

Intense hatred and arguments

I can't believe again I fell for this

Your ways are so sadistic

This time with you I'm really finished

No more calling on me

Too bad because I needed someone to connect with...

It's been two years and I missed you dearly

You called me saying we can fix it

I'm on my way over right now

I'm so glad you called

I've been thinking about how our kids would look like

I've been thinking about the feeling of you tonight

I'm at the door,

I come right in,

We make love until four

I must say I'm craving for more

You say what I hated and ruined the moment

Asking me about other women and mentioning that man you were with

I swear why you have to do this every time

I'm heading out the door for good this time

Too bad because I needed someone to connect with...

I Truly Enjoyed This Poem! Well, I have quite a few things to say about it! I'm Just Stating My Honest Opinion. So Here Goes, it sounds to me as if these two written about are Truly In Love, that's my Personal Take on this. If Two Years went by and they still have need and Love for One Another. They Obviously Both did't Forget One Another! I wanted to see the ending differently. I would've Preferred to see that He Stood, and not Left. I Feel "Time is of the Essence," so if two People don't Forget Each Other over Time, Then They Are Meant To Be! Thats Just My Take On This. This Poem wasExcellent. It Was Passionate, Romantic and had Deepened Emotion. Excellent Work!

Honestly, I feel this has a powerful message and would make a wonderful song! I feel that any poem is a good one as long as it reaches any certain reader beneath the skin, you know? If the are able to relate to it in some way or another, that's all that matters. If it gets out what all you need to say that's been built inside, it's considered a good poem to me. It's not about using big words or alot of images. It's about expressing what all you have inside in the right way that you want it to be expressed. Some people like to play with our minds and with love, we see it all to often and I feel that no one deserves that...if you're going to be with someone, just be open and honest. People act like its such a burden or a waste of time to be honest and personal when really, it helps two people get stronger over time.
