Found In You

Found In You

A Poem by Chris Micha
"

What was found when I lost myself in you.

"

Found In You

I lose myself in you seamlessly

Time stops in your eyes

Pulling me into a world of flawless eternity

Surrounded by diamond studded skies

Dreams dart around me

Enticing me to enter them

With the lure of the unimaginable unseen

And of sins conjured in the P.M.

Your thoughts are a chaotic beautiful mess

Of unorganized fields of blossoming love & disillusions

But I'm here to tend to the fields

To weed out the rows of doubt & confusion

Your heart once thought frozen over

Sits lonely in an isolated chamber

Just wants a night in shinning stars

To guide and watch over her forever

But what I found when I lost myself

To all the magic tricks you use

While searching your heart for love

 I found myself in you.

I'm honestly speechless on what to say right now cause this was so beautifully written! Such amazing imagery, storytelling, honesty. The whole works, you definitely have it here. I love the structure you used, the tense...um, what else? Sorry, this is so...wonderful and it made my heart glow. It really brightened my night to read this and as I write this comment, I'm still trying to find words to say to myself. I loved this though! So much!

I fell in love in each word, line and stanza O_O! New favorite again! You seem to have your own language of love and it seems like you own every word here, like it's my first time reading it..like you invented it. Genius! Romantic! Magnificent!

Oh, I really enjoyed this. Very cute, good rhyming (didn't seem forced at all), and the flow was on point. Great job!

I love the sins conjured in the PM, a slice of wit in a feast of very deep romantic ruminations...I must admit that I was expecting this voice to be abandoned in the end, the 'tending of the fields' not enough, but I've been in a cynical mood lately so that's all on me haha Needless to say, I'm glad that I was wrong...if love is true, it's those beautiful messes that appeal to us...anyone can love perfection, but there is no romance in that, and therefore none of the gentle but striking imagery you've culled together here...well done Christian :)
